Patricia Genoe McLaren is an Assistant Professor and Area Coordinator, Business Technology Management, in the School of Business & Economics, Wilfrid Laurier University, Ontario, Canada. She is the Business History Division Chair of the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada. Her main body of work critically analyzes the social, economic, and political contexts in which management theory has developed and the influence the resulting theory has had on those contexts. She has published in Management & Organizational History, Journal of Management History, Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences, and Journal of Leadership Studies. She is currently co-editing the Routledge Companion to Management & Organizational History.
